Event Highlights
🎉 Welcome Back to School Family Fun Night
A chance for families to meet and connect early in the year—past events have included a movie, petting zoo, and even a magic show!

Held the first Wednesday of every month! Kids show spirit with a Key t-shirt (free for new students) or anything yellow & blue.
👕 Shop Spirit Wear📚 Book Fair
Build your child’s home library with bilingual books! Students visit during school hours to make wish lists; families can shop during special hours. Volunteers help with wish lists & check-out.

Each November, Key families honor loved ones with a month-long cultural celebration with a Día de Muertos Altar in the main Key lobby as the centerpiece.

Outdoor games and activities led by PE staff, with support from parent volunteers. A favorite tradition in late October!

Outdoor movies under the stars — one in Spanish, one in English (both subtitled). Bring blankets, bring the kids, and enjoy!
☕ Parent & Family Socials
Relaxed gatherings to connect families. Starts with a Welcome Coffee after drop-off on the first day, plus additional socials throughout the year.
🔢 100th Day of School
A February classroom celebration! Teachers organize math activities, and parents are invited to join.

One of Key’s most beloved traditions! Families host cultural tables, share dishes, and enjoy student & family performances. Usually held indoors in February.

Held in April, this event highlights Spanish language pride with student skits, poems, and readings.

In June, Key teachers and staff recognize students for academic, character, and classroom achievements.

Games, bounce houses, and team fun in June — always a highlight! 👕 Look for t-shirt order forms in spring.

A wonderful tradition in which parents from younger grades run the event so 5th-grade parents can celebrate with their children. Includes food, music, and a photo booth to capture the memories!
